Police investigating hit-and-run collision in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after a hit-and-run collision occurred in Kitchener.

It happened just before 11 p.m. Thursday night in the area of Bechtel Drive and Doon Village Road.

According to police a vehicle hit a hydro pole causing significant damage and then fled the area.

Officers were unable to locate the driver or vehicle that caused the incident.

Neighbouring residences experienced power outages as a result. Police are still looking for the driver of the vehicle and wish to check on their wellbeing.
