Cocaine, cash, and other drugs seized in Cambridge home

Regional police have laid charges after finding drugs and cash in a home in Cambridge.

Officers say the ongoing investigation by members of Waterloo Regional Police’s Direction Action Response Team also known as DART Completed a search warrant on Friday at a residence in the area of Concession Street and Main Street.

Investigators found and seized an undisclosed amount of money along with suspected cocaine and oxycodone.

A 47-year-old man from Cambridge was arrested and charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The accused is being held in police custody while waiting for a bail hearing.
