Three people hospitalized after crash on Trussler Road

Three people were hospitalized after a serious crash on Trussler Road in North Dumfries on Friday afternoon.

Police announced shortly before 3:30 p.m. that a collision resulted in a closure on Trussler Road between Piper Street and Gladstone Road.

Police confirmed to CityNews Kitchener that two vehicles were involved in the crash.

Three individuals were taken to hospital, including one person who sustained life-threatening injuries.

No further details on the collision were immediately available as the police investigation continued.

Drivers were told to avoid the area and plan an alternate route throughout the closure.
