Kitchener residents call police after masked men break-in, steal $30K worth of stuff

By Erin Anderson

A brazen break-in that happened at a Kitchener home while the residents were inside has police searching for multiple suspects.

The break-and-enter occurred Tuesday just before 3 a.m. in the Maple Manor Court and Pioneer Tower Road area.

Four male suspects who were wearing masks allegedly broke into the house and stole more than $30,000 worth of items including jewellery, clothing, and keys.

The homeowners were inside at the time and called police for help. There’s no reported injuries.

The masked men fled the scene in a vehicle and Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate.

The incident comes as police continue to investigate two other recent break-ins that occurred while residents were at home sleeping.
