Police search for a man riding a scooter after sexual assault in Cambridge

Police are looking for a suspect who was riding a scooter after a sexual assault in Cambridge.

Waterloo Regional Police said it happened around 11:30 on Friday night, around Water Street North and Samuelson Street in Galt.

Police say a female victim was walking along Water Street N. when she was approached by a stranger who sexually assaulted her.

Officials say he was riding a black electric scooter.

The suspect is a white man, 25 to 40 years old, about 5’8″ and thin, and at the time was wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
