Cambridge man facing 17 charges in stolen vehicle investigation

Regional Police have arrested and charged a man from Cambridge with 17 offences in relation to a stolen motor vehicle investigation.

The man was identified through multiple outstanding warrants with WRPS and the Guelph Police Service.

According to police, on Wednesday officers completed two search warrants at a home in Cambridge.

That resulted in the 36-year-old Cambridge man being arrested and charged with the following:

  • Drive disqualified (five counts)
  • Dangerous driving (two counts)
  • Fail to comply with an undertaking (five counts)
  • Fail to comply with a release order (five counts)

He was then held by police for a bail hearing.
