WRPS investigating drone dropping unknown substance on homes in Ayr

Someone operating a drone in Ayr has reportedly been dropping an unknown substance on homes, cars, and property in the town.

Waterloo Regional Police say they have received multiple calls about a drone causing property damage in the Stanley Street and Main Street area.

The investigation began last Friday, but police say there have been multiple reports of damage.

The drone itself, is believed to be a first-person view drone or FPV, flying sometime in the middle of the night, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
