‘Canada’s complicity’: PYM holding pro-Palestinian rally in Kitchener

A rally is set to be held at Kitchener City Hall, with the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM) calling for and end to the conflict.

The rally was announced in a post to social media, with the PYM saying it is demanding a two-way arms embaro against what it calls the “Zionist state.”

“We have witnessed unimaginable death and destruction during the past 10 months,” said the PYM in the post. “Destruction of homes, schools, hospitals, lives and families have been irrevocably changed.”

It continues to say that it has a commitment towards the Palestinian people, wanting to bring attention to “Canada’s complicity” in the war on Gaza. It’s asking supporters in Waterloo region to take to the streets this afternoon, meeting at Kitchener City Hall at 1 p.m.

“Gaza’s calling, we must answer.”
