Police say sexual assault suspect considered armed and dangerous

Regional police have identified a suspect in an alleged sexual assault in Kitchener, who is considered armed and dangerous.

Police were called about a sexual assault in the Victoria Street North and Lackner Boulevard area of Kitchener about two weeks ago.

Police have indicated that on August 10, a female victim was reportedly sexually assaulted at 5 a.m.

The photos of the suspect were released Sunday afternoon. On Wednesday, police confirmed the suspect has been identified at 21-year-old Sukhmanjot Singh who is known to frequent Waterloo and Peel regions.

If you see Singh, you are asked to call 911 immediately and do not approach him.
