High-risk offender released from custody wanted by Guelph police

Police are alerting the public of a high-risk offender, wanted in Guelph, who has been released from custody in Toronto.
35-year-old Medhani Yohans was released from custody on July 29, and his whereabouts are unknown. Yohans has a history of violence that includes sexual assaults on strangers.
Guelph Police say Yohans poses a particular risk to women, and they’re concerned that he may commit similar crimes in the future.
Yohans is described as a black male, 5’9″, with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest by Guelph Police, and if you see him, do not approach, but call the police at 519-824-1212.
