Two people dead in Oshawa shooting

Durham Regional Police officers say two people have died after a shooting in Oshawa on Saturday. A 30-year-old man was taken into custody.

Two people are dead and one person is in custody following a shooting in Oshawa.

Durham Regional Police said they were called to a home in the area of Fernhill Boulevard and Rossland Road West on Saturday for reports of shots fired.

When they arrived they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds. They were later pronounced dead.

Police say one man is in custody and there is no further risk to public safety.
