THEMUSEUM offering three complimentary visits to Ontario Science Centre members

THEMUSEUM in downtown Kitchener is out with a unique offer for those who are Ontario Science Centre members.

With the sudden closure of the science centre in Toronto, THEMUSEUM is offering three complimentary visits this summer, allowing families to experience STEAM programming and exhibitions.

“As part of the national museum and science centre community, we’re delighted to offer Ontario Science Centre Members another fun-filled experience to enjoy this summer.” said David Marskell CEO of THEMUSEUM in a release. “There is lots to explore in downtown Kitchener and Waterloo Region making for a great day or overnight trip!”

Ontario Science Centre members can visit THEMUSEUM through Labour Day for the complimentary visits. THEMUSEUM said proof of their current Ontario Science Centre membership card must be presented upon arrival to claim the offer.

“By opening their doors to Ontario Science Centre Members, THEMUSEUM is demonstrating the true nature of the public STEM engagement sector – collaborative, supportive, and willing to do whatever it takes to keep curious minds engaged in STEM learning. It’s commitments like this that will help advance a thriving science and innovation culture across Canada,” said Dr. Marianne Mader, CEO, Canadian Association of Science Centres.

THEMUSEUM said details will be sent from the Ontario Science Centre to its members in an e-newsletter.
