HWY 7/8 EB reopened at Trussler Road after fatal crash

A driver has been killed in what police are calling a fatal, single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 7/8 through Kitchener.
The collision happened Wednesday around 11 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Highway 7/8 at Trussler Road.
OPP said the involved vehicle went into the ditch and the male driver was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still trying to identify the driver of the vehicle.
Eastbound lanes of Highway 7/8 were closed until about 3:18 p.m. OPP confirm to CityNews 570 that the roadway has been cleared.
The closure was in place for about four hours.
