Another milestone for Waterloo’s Caitlin Kraemer, coming home with bronze medal

It was a winning weekend for some local names on the international hockey scene.

Waterloo’s Caitlin Kraemer not only took home the bronze medal with Team Canada’s U18 women team at the world championship in Switzerland, she also reached another historic landmark.

The Waterloo Ravens star now holds the record for the most points with the Canadian national women’s U18 team.

In the same tournament, she surpassed Marie-Philip Poulin as the all-time leading goal scorer for the team.

Also proudly wearing the bronze medal around her neck, fellow Waterloo Raven, Abby Stonehouse, who along with Kraemer, each nabbed two goals in the 8-1 bronze medal final against Finland.
