Freezing rain warning ends in Waterloo Region

There in no longer an active freezing rain warning for Waterloo Region.

Environment Canada initially issued a special weather statement for Waterloo Region and surrounding areas Friday and it was later upgraded to a freezing rain warning.

The national weather agency said there was potential for patchy freezing rain overnight Friday into Saturday morning.

Drivers are still advised to take caution on the roadways.
