By CityNews Kitchener Staff

A major drug bust in Guelph.

Guelph Police say $70-thousand worth of cocaine is now off city streets, along with hundreds of dollars worth of oxycodone pills, over $14-thousand in cash, and drug paraphernalia.

The investigation began back in October this year, looking into a man believed to be involved with drug trafficking in the city.

This week, his business on Woodlawn Road West was searched, and the large amount of drugs and cash were found.

A 37-year-old Guelph man has been charged with two counts of possessing controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking.
