Make it 26 goals over three games for the hot Kitchener Rangers.
The Blueshirts nabbed their third win in a row in St Catharines Wednesday night against the Niagara Ice Dogs.
The final score was 7-4.
CityNews Colour Commentator Paul Fixter says there will be a dry spell eventually but for now, the Rangers’ offence is dominating.
“It seems like everything they throw at the net is going in, but they are creating their offence with their speed, their traffic around the net front, and they are getting contributions up and down the line up.”
This includes two goals, netted by Luca Romano, who nabbed his first two points of the season.
All of the Ice Dogs’ goals were scored in the third period, something that Fixter says, will certainly be top of mind at practice Thursday.
“Coaches don’t like to give up four goals in a game, nevermind in one period.”
The East Avenue Blue are back at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Friday night.
They take on the Owen Sound Attack, which served the Rangers their first loss of the season two weeks ago.
