Big K-W Oktoberfest events are on the horizon

K-W Oktoberfest is inching closer with some some major events!

The Bavarian festival started Sept. 22, but with all the events on the horizon, it feels like it’s just getting started!

Friday is the Official Keg Tapping, and the person doing the tapping is still a mystery.

Over the weekend there are a seemingly endless amount of events including DOGtoberfest, PRIDEtoberfest, KIDtoberfest, Einstein trivia and more.

DORFROCKER will be performing both Saturday and Sunday, and Sunday will also offer a great way to start your day with Rise and Stein Yoga!

Speaking of starting your day, Monday morning is the Thanksgiving Day Parade led by our Mike Farwell and Paul Fixter as your grand marshals.

To accommodate those who want to attend the celebration, Grand River Transit has announced additional late night ION trips from Fairway and Conestoga stations Friday and Saturday and next Friday and Saturday.
