Regional police looking for help identifying Waterloo thief

Regional Police have issued photos of a person they need to find after someone broke into a Waterloo home while the victim was sleeping.

It happened on Sept. 15, sometime between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m., at a home on Westcourt Place, near Westmount Road and Erb Street West.

Police say the thief came in through a back window.

No one was hurt, but property and credit cards were stolen, and the cards were used at several stores.

Police have sent out three photos of a white male, thin build, with scruffy facial hair, wearing a black cap, black Adidas hoodie, black track pants, carrying a black Nike backpack.
