Regional Police have charged a 58-year-old man with additional charges after further alleged incidents at Saint John Paul II Catholic Elementary School in Kitchener.
The man is a former administrator at the school.
In May, police announced that they were charging the man with assault after a student report they received inappropriate messages from him.
Now the man is facing charges that include two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference, and invitation to sexual touching.
These new charges are related to incidents surrounding the first youth victim.
A second youth victim has also been identified.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on July 17.
The Waterloo Catholic District School Board provided a comment on the situation to CityNews 570 in May that read, “As always, whenever a case involving students or staff is before the courts the WCDSB is not able to provide any comment or information.”
Anyone with information is being asked to contact police at 519-570-9777, ext. 8980, or crime stoppers.
