A Walk to End ALS took place in Waterloo Sunday morning.
The family friendly event is a way to show support and raise funds for Canadians and their families who are living with ALS.
A five kilometre walk took place in Waterloo Sunday beginning at the Albert McCormick Community Centre and then headed south along Graham Way, West to Hagey Boulevard and North to Bearinger Road before heading back to the centre.
Walks occurred across Canada Sunday and the local fundraiser goal for Waterloo Region is $110,000 with over $96,000 already being raised by 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
