‘Enough is Enough’ rally taking place in Kitchener

A provincewide ‘Enough is Enough’ rally is taking place today.
The expo is being held by the Ontario Federation of Labour.
The goal is to highlight the affordability crisis and demand better from those in positions of power.
Some of the demands include wage increases, keeping schools and health care public, and making housing affordable with rent control.
Locally an event is being planned in Waterloo region at Carl Zehr Square at 10 a.m. and will last until 11:30.
A variety of community organizations and unions will be attending the vent and booths could include a number of ‘micro-actions’ attendees can be a part of to support the cause.
These could include button making, gathering signatures for petitions and making flags or banners.
Following the event there will be an unofficial march and rally at 11:45 a.m. planned to run from Kitchener City Hall to Grand River Hospital along King Street.
