K-W Titans join Basketball Super League

The Basketball League and the National Basketball League of Canada are merging and calling themselves the Basketball Super League.
The Basketball Super League will feature teams not only from Ontario but also New York, Michigan, Newfoundland, and Quebec.
National Basketball league of Canada teams from London, Sudbury and Windsor will also join the new league.
The announcement was made during a press conference at the Kitchener Auditorium on Tuesday afternoon, and featured the Basketball League President David Magley and K-W Titans owner David Schooley.
The expansion would give the Titans the opportunity to play more than 50 teams across Canada and the U.S, instead of the three competitors in the the National Basketball League of Canada.
The Titans have made some big changes in the last several months, including new ownership under David and Kate Schooley in 2022.
The K-W Titans are currently sitting at three wins and nine losses within the four team National Basketball League of Canada.
The Basketball Super League will officially hit the court in 2024.
