Wanted Kitchener man arrested, charged with several offences

A Kitchener man who was wanted has been arrested and charged with numerous offences.

Regional police saw the man on Thursday driving in the area of Weber Street East and Fergus Avenue in Kitchener.

He was wanted on outstanding warrants.

The man fled and was later found at 2 a.m. on Friday in the area of Concession Street and Christopher Drive in Cambridge.

Police seized a vehicle, Canadian currency, ammunition, and suspected fentanyl and psilocybin worth $16,500.

The 34-year-old man was charged with several offences including possession for the purpose of trafficking, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
