The teen was reportedly attempting to cross Charles Street East near Cameron Street North, when he was struck by the eastbound train, around 2:33 Wednesday afternoon.

“I'm aware the school is up to speed in regards to the collision itself and they are offering supports to the students this morning, as well, we are offering supports to the employees of GRT who were operating the LRV and assisting with the investigation.”

Investigators will continue to look through video evidence of the crash, and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
