Water main break closes King Street East in Kitchener

A water main break in Kitchener has closed King Street East between Fairway Road and River Road East. 

According to Kitchener Utilities, the cause of the break is still under investigation

The water main break has resulted in water disruptions for one nearby complex and one residence.

Repair efforts are expected to take roughly eight hours or less.

Motorists are asked to find an alternate route around the area as the closure remains in effect.
