Woman dies in two-vehicle crash south of Mount Forest

A 48-year-old Mount Forest woman is dead following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 6, south of Mount Forest.

The crash, involving two sport utility vehicles, happened around 1 p.m. Monday.

The woman was transported to a local hospital but was pronounced dead there. A 46-year-old man from Mount Forest was airlifted to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

Highway 6 was closed into the evening between Sideroad 5 and Sideroad 3 for the investigation.
