If you're headed to a local conservation area with your four-legged friend, you're being asked to keep them on a leash.
The Grand River Conservation Authority issued the reminder on Friday.
A release said dogs are welcome at most GRCA conservation areas, but they need to be on a leash and kept under control. If not, visitors could face fines.
Owners are also reminded to clean up after their dogs and discard of any waste appropriately.
GRCA staff will reportedly be increasing their enforcement this fall.
