Wanted Kitchener man arrested in North Perth

A Kitchener man wanted on outstanding warrants by police in Owen Sound has been arrested in the Municipality of North Perth.

The arrest was made around 7 a.m. on September 21 on Mitchell Road South.

During a search of the suspect, police found drugs believed to be fentanyl. It's alleged the suspect was also in possession of a stolen motorcycle.

41-year-old David Carefoot faces charges including, possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid, failure to comply with release order — other than to attend court, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

The accused was held in custody.
