Waste management offering public tours on October 1

You can get an up-close and personal look at where your household waste ends up on October 1.
Region of Waterloo Waste Management will be offering public on-site tours on that day.
You'll be able to hop on a bus for a tour of the landfill and materials recycling centre, before checking out the inside of the operations centre.
Registration is required as space is limited. You can secure your spot by phoning 519-575-4400.
