New fall fair offers traditional experience with downtown vibe

A new fall fair has arrived in Kitchener just in time for the autumn weather. 

Next Saturday at the Kitchener Market from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., the Kitchener Market Fall Fair will feature local farmers and businesses. 

The event will also offer carnival games and rides as well as buskers, live music and artisan vendors. 

One of the workshops, an all-ages cooking class called Funnel Cakes with Chef Nicole, is already full. 

Visitors can pick up a Fall Feast grocery list at the Kitchener Market Piazza, which features several items from local vendors. Those that purchase six items on the list will be entered for a chance to win a prize.

The Saturday farmers’ market will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
