Region expands eligibility for Affordable Transit Program

More local residents can now access Waterloo Region's Affordable Transit Program.
The region is pumping an additional $120,000 a year into the program. It points out in a news release, the move will increase income limits by 15 per cent.
The program provides a 48 per cent discount on the price of a monthly pass, stored value or MobilityPLUS tickets.
Eligibility for the program is managed by the Region of Waterloo's Community Services Department.
