By CityNews Kitchener Staff

It's election day in Ontario, and CityNews 570 has coverage of all five local ridings.

Our election broadcast begins at 8 p.m. with live results coming in from the ridings of Waterloo, Kitchener Centre, Kitchener Conestoga, Kitchener South Hespeler and Cambridge.

We will also be broadcasting a live election panel hosted by Mike Farwell until 11 p.m.

In Waterloo, the NDP's Catherine Fife is the incumbent and one of eight candidates vying for your vote.

Kitchener Centre is heading into the vote with NDP orange, incumbent Laura Mae Lindo seeking re-election, and is among five candidates in the riding.

In Kitchener Conestoga, Conservative Mike Harris is seeking re-election, seven candidates are on the ballot in that riding.

The riding of Kitchener South Hespeler has no incumbent with P-C Amy Fee not seeking re-election and in Cambridge, incumbent Belinda Karahalios is running for the New Blue Party, among five other candidates.

More information on your local riding, and who is running can be found here.

Both the ridings of Kitchener South Hespeler and Kitchener Conestoga were decided by fewer than one thousand votes back in 2018.
