Cambridge senior charged with breaking into Listowel home

A Cambridge resident has been charged following an investigation into a break and enter in the Municipality of North Perth last weekend.

On February 12 2022, just before 10:30 a.m., the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at residence on Griffith Court, Listowel.

A person who did not have authority had entered the residence and was removing items.

Michael TAYLOR, 70, of Cambridge, was arrested and charged with:

–      Break, Enter a place – With Intent to Commit Indictable Offence

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
