Cambridge lottery winner planning vehicle upgrade

Heather Franklin already has some plans for the $100,000 she won playing Instant Cash Rush.
Hoping for at least a $25 win, the Cambridge woman said she couldn't believe it when she saw $100,000 on the ticket, and when initially sharing the news with family, they all thought she was trying to pull a prank.
Franklin will use some of her winnings to buy a more reliable vehicle.
“I will also share with my friends and family who’ve helped me through the pandemic. I’m so grateful for them,” she shared while picking up her cheque at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
The winning ticket was purchased at Little Short Stop on Saginaw Parkway in Cambridge.
