Former Kitchener neurologist facing additional sexual assault charges

A former Kitchener neurologist is now facing eight additional charges of sexual assault.

52-year-old Jeffrey Sloka was charged Thursday, and made a court appearance as well.

Police now say the accused is charged with 76 offences in total, in connection to separate sexual assaults against women in Waterloo Region.

Sloka was first arrested in September 2019. His licence to practice was also revoked.

Some of the alleged assaults date back to 2010.
