Another Laurier employee tests positive for COVID-19

For the second time in three days, Wilfrid Laurier University has confirmed a COVID-19 case.
The affected individual is an employee at the Waterloo campus.
They are in self-isolation and will not be further identified due to privacy concerns. High-risk contacts will be notified by public health.
On Tuesday, Laurier announced a separate COVID-19 case involving an employee at the Waterloo campus.
A post on the university's website said, “The Laurier community can rest assured the university has in place rigorous protocols for sanitizing and cleaning campus areas since the beginning of the pandemic.”
It has also issued a reminder to students and staff to adhere to public health guidelines and campus safety protocols.
