Over 100 jobs are up for grabs at a company opening a manufacturing facility in Cambridge.
It will be the second Ontario facility for NRB Modular Solutions, described as a turn-key provider of modular building solutions. The other Ontario location is located in Grimsby.
“We know that the COVID-19 pandemic has strained the job market in many regions and industry sectors and we couldn't be happier to bring over 100 well-paying jobs to the Cambridge area requiring a mix of skill levels and experience,” Dawn Nigro, President, NRB Modular Solutions, said in a release.
“Those who join us will help our team accelerate our mission to demonstrate that modular construction is simply a better way to build the critical infrastructure that is needed in our communities.” Nigro added.
The company is looking to fill positions including carpenters, material handlers and general labourers. More details can be found on NRB's career page.
The finished products from NRB end up as multi-family residential buildings, affordable housing, healthcare facilities, etc.
Plans are to open the Cambridge facility — at 950 Industrial Road — on May 1.
