Two students at Wilfrid Laurier University's MacDonald Hall Residence have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
The school said in a release that the two individuals – reported December 16 – are in self-isolation, and the cases are being managed by public health. An outbreak has now been declared in the residence.
Laurier does have a designated self-isolation residence for such students, though the school did not mention whether the two students would be using it.
