Parking enforcement resumes in Waterloo, Kitchener

By Maddie Demarte

Both parking permit holders and street parking fees will be enforced in the City of Waterloo once again.

Starting July 1, payments had to be made on Waterloo city streets, however bylaw officers will be giving out warning tickets starting Tuesday.

In a release, the city said for the first two weeks of July, parking enforcement officers will issue warning tickets only, and will begin issuing full parking tickets later in the month.

In terms of overnight street parking, the city says bylaw enforcement will recommence later this summer.
