Police looking for three suspects after armed robbery, car jacking in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police are looking for three men in connection with a robbery and car jacking in Kitchener.

It happened on Commonwealth Crescent, just after 12:30 a.m., on Sunday.

Police say a man was sitting in his parked vehicle when he was approached by the suspects.

The suspects brandished a knife and a handgun and robbed the victim of his cellphone and vehicle. 

Police later recovered the vehicle in the area of Thaler and Kinzie Avenue.

The suspects, who fled on foot, are between 18-19 years of age, six-feet tall with thin builds.
