The Reklaws win another CCMA

By Blair Adams

The Reklaws will be bringing two pieces of precious cargo back with them from out west.

The band, which is made up of brother-sister duo Jenna and Stuart Walker of Cambridge, won their second Canadian Country Music Association Award of the weekend on Sunday night in Calgary.

Their record “Feels Like That” won Album of The Year.

“That's the biggest compliment you could ask for. You work your whole life compiling songs and music, you hope people will like it and you guys have blessed us this year so hard, with loving that music and making it your own!” Jenna Walker said in their acceptance speech.

The other nominees were Dallas Smith, Paul Brandt, Tebey, Tim Hicks and the Hunter Brothers.

The Reklaws were presented with Top Selling Canadian Single of the Year for “Long Live The Night” on Saturday.

In 2018, The Reklaws won the Rising Star award at the CCMA's.
