There will be major Grand River Transit route changes to take place now that the new LRT system is up and running.

More than 800 bus stops within the Region will be affected.

On Monday these changes will start with the GRT Route 200 as it will be replaced with the ION Route 301.

ION Route 301 starts at Conestoga in Waterloo and ends at the Fairway in Kitchener.

There will be a 302 ION Bus available after the last stop for anyone needing to travel to the Ainslie Street Terminal in Cambridge.

Transit users can go online to grt.ca to find a weekday and weekend schedule for ION Route 301.
