Cooking accident causes small apartment fire

A fire broke out Tuesday afternoon in an apartment in the area of Chandler Drive in Kitchener.
Emergency services responded to the call around 3:30 p.m. There was minor damage reported to the unit in question. No other apartments were damaged.
One resident was treated on scene by paramedics for a minor injury.
The fire was caused by a cooking accident.
