Environment Canada issues fog advisory

For the second morning in a row, we are dealing with a thick blanket of fog in Waterloo Region and much of southern Ontario.
A fog advisory was put back in place just after 6 a.m. on Monday.
Keep in mind, the moist air this morning and below freezing temperatures mean you’ll encounter some icy sections on roads and sidewalks.
We are also staring at an end to the above normal temperatures this week, with the seasonal reality setting in mid week.
We are looking at a high of 8 today and 7 tomorrow, before the temperature starts to drop off.
The normal high for this time of year is plus two and by Wednesday we’ll be dealing with below normal temperatures with the high that day and for the foreseeable future below the freezing mark.
There’s also the risk of flurries every day for several days starting Wednesday.
