55-year-old man facing slew of charges after stabbing in Kitchener

A man was stabbed following an altercation in Kitchener last night.

Police were called to 150 Heiman Street just after 8 to a fight between roommates.

Police say during the fight, a 56 year-old Kitchener man suffered a stab wound to his hand.

He suffered minor injuries.

The suspect, a 55 year-old man also from Kitchener, was arrested while attempting to run from the area.

He has been charged with a number of weapon offences and is also facing assault and drug charges.
