ION testing underway in Waterloo

Waterloo Region’s newest transportation vehicle is being put to work.

Track testing of the new ION vehicle started Tuesday morning at the Dutton facility in Waterloo.

Vehicle “502” is out on the tracks.

The ION is expected to be up and running by the spring of 2018.
