Elmira Road set to close in Guelph

Elmira Road in Guelph is set to be closed starting Monday, for the installation of underground water testing equipment.

City officials say the installation will help find water leaks in pipes, so repairs can be easily completed.

As a result, the road will be closed between Flaherty Drive and Speedvale Avenue.

The detour is Paisley Road, Imperial Road, and Speedvale Avenue.

Construction is expected to last a week, weather permitting.
