Suspects identified after assault outside Waterloo elementary school

Regional police are investigating, after a brawl broke out in front of a Waterloo elementary school, Wednesday night.
A police spokesperson tells 570 NEWS, officers were called to the scene after reports of an assault at Lester B. Pearson Public School.
Several passerby’s posted on a Facebook Group that a huge group of teenagers — that looked to be students ranging from Grade 8 to high school — were partying and fighting on the school’s property.
No word from police if charges were laid, but they say suspects have been identified.
The Waterloo Region District School Board tells our newsroom they are aware of an altercation between individuals, but declined to comment saying it could have happened anywhere and it is a police issue.
