Police make arrest in series of alleged sexual assaults in Kitchener

Regional Police have made an arrest, after six women reported being sexually assaulted over a period of four months.
It’s alleged that between April and August, an unknown man inappropriately touched six women on-top of their clothes in the Lancaster Street area of Kitchener.
In one incident, police say a women reported being struck in the face by a man who walked up behind her.
Cherri Greeno with Regional Police says a 25-year-old Kitchener man was arrested on Sunday.
“Based on descriptions that were provided to us from the [alleged] victims, we were able to make an arrest,” she says.
The accused is facing a long list of charges including four counts of Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference, Assault and Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
